Following from the BMU (German) Funded V-NAMA pilot for EE in Public Buildings (October 2012- April 2014), the objective is to scale up the pilot programme to buildings in selected provinces.
Activities: (2013
1. Develop a bankable, MRV-capable (monitoring, reporting, verification) Proposal for a V-NAMA Pilot Programme.
2. Elaborate a package of Practical and Effective Incentives to promote mitigation actions at municipal and provincial level.
3. Establish a consistent MRV Methodology to capture greenhouse gas reductions at the sub-national level in a way that they can be aggregated at national level.
4. Empower Sub-Nationals towards a consolidated approach using the preparation of vertically integrated NAMAs
