    Objective:

    The objective is to produce electricity from the combustion of biomass derived from the processing of rice husks.

    Activities: (2016
    The rationale behind this NAMA is that approximately 80kg of rice is consumed per capita per year in Panama. The electricity generated will supply the energy demand of the rice processing plant and the surplus will be provided to the grid.
