The introduction of efficient sewing, washing, drying machines and compressors will improve energy efficiency in motor driven systems and will decrease GHG emissions by reducing the use of electricity.
Clean Production Agreements in Chile	Chile	Project	In Chile, the promotion of cleaner production is promoted and coordinated by the National Council for Clean Production (NCCP), an institution under the Ministry of Economy. One of the goals of NCCP for 2020 is to contribute to reducing greenhouse gases through its main management instrument, the Clean Production Agreement (CPA). This voluntary agreement is negotiated and signed by the representative of the industrial organization on behalf of the companies in a particular productive sector and a public administration sector.

Co-processing of municipal solid waste (MSW) based refuse derive fuel (RDF) in cement plants in India	India	Strategy/Policy	This NAMA aims to reduce the amount of waste landfilled under precarious conditions, facilitate a thermal use for waste fractions that cannot be recycled material-wise, and lead to a reduction of GHG emissions through the replacement of fossil fuels as well as the avoidance of methane emissions from landfills.
NAMA - Green Chillers and Industrial Energy Efficiency Programme in Indonesia	Indonesia	Strategy/Policy	The project aims to assist the Energy Ministry in particular to create reliable enabling conditions for measures to increase efficiency in refrigeration and air-conditioning technology. A specific NAMA (Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Action) for energy-efficient refrigeration will be developed for Indonesia. Proposed improvements will be developed and evaluated in selected applications. Specific GHG reduction measures in the use of RAC technologies in industry and commerce will be implemented and supported by technology transfer. Pilot measures will serve as a reference for further dissemination in Indonesia.

Cement industries are expected to reduce their GHG emission voluntarily by 2% in 2011-2015 and mandatorily by an additional 3% in 2016-2020.

Transforming construction in Mongolia using Supplementary Cementitious Materials	Mongolia	Strategy/Policy	The objective of the proposed NAMA is to initiate the transformation of Mongolia’s construction sector towards a less carbon intensive development path through the introduction of supplementary cementitious materials (SCM) that can replace up to 70% of cement in concrete. SCM are produced by a mechanical process that consumes 90-95% less energy compared to cement manufacture. The envisaged measures consist of the establishment a 350,000 t/y SCM production facility, the design of supportive policies and management of the standardization process.

NAMA for the sustainable use and disposal of the biomass in Mexico, turning it into renewable energy	Mexico	Project	The NAMA has two objectives. In the short term, the objective is: Incorporation and compliance to a voluntary environmental program of the Tequila industry for the sustainable disposition of vinazas, bagasse and agave leaf, considered today as a waste. Replacement of fossil fuel in the Mexican industry with renewable biofuel derived from the agave, promoting the installation and operation of biomass based cogeneration systems that use agave waste from the Tequila industry. Accreditation of emissions reduction in the production of Tequila through the distinctive "Holohuella CO2" (hologram-carbon footprint) as a physical proof to adhere to the bottle. In the long term, the NAMA will incorporate to the voluntary environmental program, other biomasses considered a waste besides the Agave.
